Cotillion Party
The Cotillion Party, on the sixth week, is the culmination of the Cotillion season. Family members are invited and encouraged to attend. A highlight of the party is a special dance featuring the Parent/Child Dance (any special guest is welcome to enjoy this dance with the student). The Cotillion Party will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton.
For the party only, the 6th Grade Party will begin at 8:00 PM and conclude at 9:00 PM.
The 5th Grade Party will remain from 6:00 until 7:00 PM consistent with the instructional classes.
Attire
Proper attire is requested for all classes. While many places have grown to accept the "dress down" philosophy similar to "casual Friday" in the workplace, we believe that dressing for success is something that needs to be practiced from an early age. Research has proven that individuals who dress better, feel better about themselves and exude an air of confidence. By requesting students to adhere to a dress code for Cotillion, we are providing them with an opportunity to present themselves in their best light.
Gentlemen:
- Collared shirt (tucked in)
- Tie
- Khakis or dress pants
- Belt
- Coat or sport jacket is optional
Ladies:
- Dress
- Skirt (knee length) and blouse
What Not to Wear:
- Jeans
- Shorts
- Flip flops or Crocs
- Athletic shoes
- Strapless dresses
Looking polished and properly dressed for the formal occasion is essential! If the dress code is a true barrier for your child to be able to participate, exceptions may be made. Please contact Laurie Mottice at wc@worthingtoncotillion.com or 614.284.4202.
Tuition Fee
The Fee for the season is $130 payable with the application. There is a 20% discount offered for siblings enrolled in the 5th and 6th Grade Dance program at the same time. Scholarships are available in situations of financial hardship. For scholarship inquiries, please contact us at wc@worthingtoncotillion.com
